Epeeist dominated multi-meet hosted by BB&N and held at the Boston Fencing Club in Allston. The fencing team faced five other schools.
The men's epee squad, led by stalwart Lucas Allam and captain Daniel Carvalho won all five of their matches. Allam was 11-0 for the day with Carvalho right behind at 10-1.
The men's foil squad fought hard, beating North Hampton, but dropping matches against Westford, Lexington and Brookline. Eighth grader Julian Sutaria and beginner Loïs Gréaux both won 5 and lost 7 against very stiff competition.
The women's foil squad lost a close match to Lexington High, but beat Brookline and Westford. Eighth grader Sabrina Kappler was particularly strong winning 6 and losing only 2.
In saber, eighth graders Emile Allam and Andrea Dong showed promise against the older more experienced fencers with Dong winning 5 and losing 4 on the day.
