ISB is participating for the 4th year in Poetry Out Loud, a nationwide competition for poetry recitation by students in grades 9-12. The winners of our school competition are: 1st place Grace Hwang, 2nd place Jihane Jean, and 3rd place Aliénor Rice. In the ESL category, Nina Bili-Rossi and Armelle Jelensperger tied for first place. Grace Hwang will compete in the state semi-finals on Saturday, March 3 from 9:30-11:30am at the Boston Center for the Arts, 539 Tremont St. The event is free and open to the public.
