The ISB Blue Terriers look forward to five games next week, following a hard-fought 53-49 road loss to BU Academy in the season opener yesterday, Wednesday, December 4th.
ISB started slow before claiming a 10 point first-half lead led by senior captain Charles Wirth, who poured in a double-double, dominating on the glass. New Terrier, Albert Atallah, made a huge impact in his first game. The Junior netted 24 points, and helped to keep BU Academy at bay for most of the game. ISB led by as many as 12 in the second-half.
BU Academy took over the contest with 7 minutes left to go, leading to a furious finish that saw a 20-4 run for the home team. After a clutch corner 3 from Gustave Jungels in the final minute, the Blue Terriers had a final possession to tie the game. ISB was unable to get a good look from deep and BU Academy sealed the deal from the charity stripe.
