Bullying and Cyberbulling: An Educational Presentation for ISB Parents | Monday, October 7th | 6:30-8:00pm | Media Center.
As a follow-up to her presentation to faculty in previous years, Dr. Elizabeth Englander, Director of the Massachusetts Aggression Reduction Center (MARC), will talk about ways that parents can help their children avoid bullying and cyberbullying and thus become more socially successful in school. She will also cover the impact of social media and how to help kids manage digital technology in a respectful and healthy way.
Dr. Englander is a nationally-recognized expert in the areas of bullying and cyberbullying, childhood causes of aggression and abuse, and children's use of technology. Trained facilitators from MARC will be working with our 5th and 7th grade students this fall. We hope you will join us for what promises to be an informative and engaging presentation!
