On Tuesday, March 5th, the ISB Middle School Girls' B Team had a rough game versus The Learning Center (TLC). They lost 4 - 23. The opponent's 3 - 2 trapping zone was difficult for our players to break, causing disruption and chaos for our offensive attack. Elise Chaboussant scored off of a beautiful assist from Leane Bichet, while Katlin DeBoeck scored both foul shots at the line to complete our scoring.
Defensively, ISB players worked hard to stay with their marks as TLC used screens to score off of size mismatches created under the hoop. Our team showed perseverance and resilience as they kept coming back time and again with strong effort and attitudes. As Robert McKee says, "True character is revealed in the choices a human being makes under pressure." This last game of the season proved to be one that highlighted the B Team's grit and determination - skills that will serve them well as they grow as individual players and as a team.
