On Tuesday, October 9th, the ISB Varsity Girls Soccer Team had their second win in a league game against CATS Academy, winning 3-0! Spirits were high as the team left ISB, focused and motivated to win. The game began with the girls playing in top form; they were moving the ball well, taking shots and it came as no surprise when Adriana Eid scored at the ten minute mark assisted by a beautiful pass from Manuela Arcila. ISB kept the pressure up and scored again 20 minutes into the game by Ada De Gooyer, ending the half at 2-0. ISB entered the second half strong in defense led by Charlotte Seux, Maddie Squires and Julia Dietrich. Midfielders Lauriane Denison, Khadija Teffahi, Eve Windsor and Zoé Salette were winning all duels and intercepting most of the balls pushing up their opponent. ISB cemented its lead with a glorious third goal scored by Irene Lavergne. It was a great game, highlighting our teamwork and good sportsmanship, and we hope to continue the season in the same high spirits -- Go Blue Terriers!
