Most people already know about the search bar in Axiom. Many people, however, are not familiar with the Launchpad Quickview. This is a feature in Axiom that makes it faster to navigate to records. It is triggered by typing the name of a query in the Search Bar and then pressing the TAB key.
This allows you to run any existing query, not just the default quick search records like Students and Staff, etc. For example, you can type "Find Households," hit the TAB key, and start typing a household name without first viewing the query results grid.
Launchpad Quickview is useful when you want to see a field from a record without running a full query or going to a detail screen. For example, with Launchpad Quickview you can run the "Where Is Student Now?" query, and immediately see the "Current Location" field without typing anything else
