The 2016-2017 Varsity girls' basketball team roster more than doubled in size with an influx of freshman that has the future looking very bright for the Lady Blue Terriers. With 10 freshmen on the roster, this was a very young but talented team given to Coach Healy this season. The girls had their first winless season but with a few lucky bounces, could have been a .500 team. They played bigger and more experienced teams and kept most games very close right down to the wire. The Lady Blue Terriers never gave up regardless of what the scoreboard said and should feel very proud of that. The girls were led by their point guard Elianor Hoffmann who ran the offense and led the team in scoring. She was an intense leader who always kept the spirits up for a young team. Other bright spots for this team were the emergence of Doriane Robasson who is what you would call a gamer. Games seem to bring out the best in her. In addition, the shooting of Iris Windsor and Kimmy Robasson helped keep the Lady Blue Terriers in games. With a glut of young, versatile players moving forward, the future is very bright for the ISB Girls Varsity Program in 2017-18 and beyond.

Coach: Steve Healey
